Can I assume that the Talk any time charge is really Line rental and the Call plan charge is actually the Talk any time charge?
Edit: Sounds a daft question but just want to be sure

I took out my unlimited BB before mid June and I have talk anytime, so if I understand correctly, my bill will increase by £1.50, for the phone side of things, and no increase for the BB . Well that is until the next price hike.

Several of the Plusnet customers on my referrals list and other friends were waiting to see how I got on when I changed over to 'Unlimited', but days after I did so the £2.50 surcharge was introduced. Now those customers are somewhat disillusioned with Plusnet prices as they missed the opportunity to switch products at the pre-surcharge rate.
If I had been aware of imminent price changes, then I could have encouraged my friends to change product immediately and they would all have been happy. Instead, Plusnet have half a dozen disillusioned and slightly annoyed customers who feel stuck on their legacy products, as nobody wants to take the Plusnet phone package because they are happy with their service from BT and will NEVER change.

Quote from: JamesM As far as I can tell Cagney1994, if you took out your unlimited BB before mid June then you should not have an increase.

Thanks James.
I took BB-alone just last week. In June the price for that was £9.99; then in July it went to £12.49 (which is what it is now). How can PN justify another prince increase about 4 weeks later ??

There isn't. The latest increase does not affect the current Essentials & Unlimited prices. Your price of £12.49 will remain the same.

http://www.thinkbroadband.com/news/5970-annual-price-season-is-upon-us-once-more-at-plusnet.html
Why exactly is this 'surcharge' of £1.50 [per month +vat?] being introduced? Does PlusNet have to pay extra costs for using the copper of other networks and deem it necessary to pass its costs onto their customers, at cost? Or is it simply a predatory marketing tactic to force PlusNet customers away from using alternative providers?
An honest answer please for your customers?
