Re: Speed Problem Yet AGAIN !!!!!!

It does need changing.
Btw...posting 5 times a day that your speeds are grinding to a halt doesn't add much value to the thread now - we know there's a problem and when it's occurring. It also means that the PN staff have to try and scroll through the thread pages to find other users affected or other information (which might be missed).
I know you're not happy, but I would suggest that continually posting your speed tests is not adding much to the thread at the moment and it can be counter-productive.

Maybe so, but I'm not letting this matter go and just being brushed under the carpet and just getting on with it like I assume most people do or don't even realise they have a problem while PN rub their hands together... £20 a month for sub standard service.
I assume you put your 2p worth on the PIRATE BAY thread as well did you.... Now that was a waste of time......and  irrelevant to any matter on this part of the forum!!

Re: Speed Problem Yet AGAIN !!!!!!

I don't disagree with you. All I am trying to say is make it easier for the DC guys to see other users/other ISP users complaining about the same problem.
I would raise this with the DC team so you are compensated because your internet speeds are below the BTW fault thresholds. You are paying for a service you are not getting, which is wrong. I would also be pushing for answers on how this has happened 2-3 times in a 12 month period.
About TPB, I give my 2p worth because I get frustrated with people trying to push PN to fix a problem that is out of their control for a site that has been ruled violates copyright laws. I think PN have bigger problems to fix (like this).

Re: Speed Problem Yet AGAIN !!!!!!

been from the barrow in furness area fibre speed has been absolutey [Censored].at 5pm pulling in a whopping 4.4mb.im paying for this  and im not a happy chappy. plusnet are dragging there heels on this one and don't seem to care other than taking the direct debit and running .this has been ongoing for over 2 weeks .just after midinght speeds will be 40+mb then it will decrease period from 2pm the same day.at 7pm the speeds are a pathetic 4mb.they say bt has come back with no fault on my line.then they accuse me of having heavy useage to hide behind there fob off mistakes. how the hell can I have a heavy usage on such a [Censored] connection speed. after many phone calls and having to wait 40min + just to speak to someone  they say plug this in, try that "it must be you not us [Censored] " , plusnet now are admitting  there is a bt fault a my exchange and will take 4 days to fix. this is realy not the plusnet service I am used too..been a plusnet customer for years and its the worst ive ever seen it.things don't buck up ill be cancelling.welcome to the world of high speed fibre what a joke.so for all you peeps out there particularly in the barrow in furness area ,there is a mega problem at the moment don't waist your time like I did trying every conceivable test there is ,switching off rebooting swinging your rj45 round the living room.plusnet and their suppliers are at fault.the bt fault ref is bt2067. Re: Speed Problem Yet AGAIN !!!!!!

The last update I had on Dalton-In-Furness was that the ETA was Wednesday but they were trying to bring it forward. I've not heard anything to say they have.
Alsager and Kidsgrove I've sent back the details to BTW so they can continue to investigate.
