I just did another testagain from http://www.speedtest.btwholesale.com/ on the computer which is wired to the router (like the previous tests in my posts) and got a result of 10.6mbps and then tried another computer and did a test on my laptop over wireless and got 11.69mbps

It's going to be worth trying the following, performing a speed test with a test login.
You'd need to login to your router, it needs to be set up using the username <b>speedtest@speedtest_domain</b> and password <b>testing </b>and then connect, then run BT speed test window and re-run the test. If this isn't loading please try accessing the site through the IP address: http://193.113.8.194/ as the DNS servers may not work.
Once you've tried that let me know your results of the speed test and also remember to change your details in your router back to your details.

So I'm assuming that means 6.2db, in which case the reset must have been successful as it was 3db before

If you could post the full DSLstats (inc. error figures) from your modem/router, that could be useful as well.

That's my current router stats and line speed is 16.3mb, speed tests have shown an improvement over what I was getting before the snr reset so am happier atm

The speeds look like they're back up towards your estimate and I'd go so far to say that the line is looking more stable now. I'd keep an eye on it though:
