Does a static IP address survive a contract change?

For the last 2 years I have been enjoying having a static IP address. Now is the time to renew/change my contract for a further 2 years. If I do this, will I lose my static address or is it linked to the account which will remain?

In other words is the static IP address linked to the contract or the user?

Thanks

Fix

@losip

It is linked to the account, not the product.

A new contract causes no problems. If you switch to SOGEA (FTTC without the phone) or FTTP it should stay with you but there have been occasions where there's been a problem. If this happens you notify PN ASAP.

It's tied to the account.
Was a member for years, but moved from PN fttc to fttp from an AltNet. Getting 940Mb up and down. Happy to stay on here and try to help others. 
