Various websites, including http://pix.nofrag.com/, http://www.delicious.com/ have just stopped working for me (at around 11pm I noticed it)
http://rapidshare.com as well...
All sites are fine going through a proxy server.
I am, of course, on the thn-ag2 gateway

212.159.3.233 : pcl-iwfcache01.plus.net
It appears that sites checked against the IWF list are being given the wrong IP. This behaviour is not acceptable.
Not only does this create a situation where multiple users are sharing the same IP when accessing the site, but it also completely breaks downloads when the file request page is checked against the IWF list, but the download itself is not due to being on a different server (or vice versa).
The result is that the download request page sees the above IP but the download page sees my actual IP, causing the file to be impossible to access.

Sorry about this, it does sound like a problem that needs looking into. I'll get it raised up to our networks team and let you know as soon as there are any updates.
Sorry for the hassle,

I reported that i recieved messages akin to this :- "YOU ARE CURRENTLY CONNECTED TO OUR SYSTEM WITH THE FOLLOWING IP ADDRESS: 212.159.3.234 THIS ADDRESS HAS DOWNLOADED A TOTAL OF 611MB IN THE LAST HOUR ALREADY."
and the reply I recieved was the following which i did not dignify with a response to them (Won't mention the agents name)
"We do not send messages of this kind, it is likely spyware or malware. I recommend performing a scan to check for this."
It's about time something was done about this as it's been happening for quite some time now.

Quote from: pjmarsh Kelly, I think the point here is that it is the IWF cache that has downloaded a lot from rapidshare, which is coming from many different customers.
Yes. I'm being a muppet and haven't read all the thread!

Quote from: orbrey Unfortunately the above is the case, we're unable to remove the rapidshare address from the IWF lists becasue we are forbidden from changing them by law.
Interesting comment there Matt, The IWF filter is voluntary, and it has been stated before that PlusNet can audit/control the lists.

I hope that wasn't me... as far as I understand it we're not allowed to even look at the lists let alone make changes to them.
