i am sensible enough to decide what i see or read without any Big Brother trying to tell what i can do , most probably it wont work or will block things incorrectly

You can set preferences by content type group, and If it does block something you want to see then it's easy to login and add an exception so pretty unintrusive.

it'll be opt-in so no need to get your knickers in a twist.

Thanks for the reply, does this mean its going to be avaialble? i read that all UK ISP's would have an adult content filter option by the end of 2014.
so i have not gone the openDNS route.
When you have kids its easier to understand why people might want this option available.

I'll see if I can grab an update on this for you, we released details earlier in the year to say we we're aiming for implementing this by the end of 2014 but we may have further details to share on this. I'll update this thread as soon as I have some more information back from the person leading this project.

I do and I wouldn't entrust my kids safety to any ISP implementation.
