This month's email re DD amount

Had my "usual" monthly email(s) this morning re next DD amount. However, normally this comprises the fixed amount for B/BAND sub. plus a variable amount for daytime calls. This month it's just listing the amount for the phone calls - I hope this is just a "glitch" and they aren't going to restrict my connection because they forget to take the bb sub!!!

Re: This month's email re DD amount

You'll have a letter in the next couple of days explaining what's happened.
I can't comment any further at the moment but if you have any questions after you've received it let me know.

Thank you Matthew - I've  gone in to look at the invoice - and it's very obvious that something has gone horribly wrong  Grin

I don't think you'll find anything wrong from your point of view when you get the letter Wink

I suspect the OP's been over charged and is getting a large refund.

Nice surprise-Honesty

The postman has just been.
Inside the letter was a cheque from Plusnet for £76-44p. Apparently the regulator made changes to the broadband market and reduced the price in my area.
Plusnet say that therefore they have been charging me to much and are refunding the differance .
Lovely way to start the week

Re: This month's email re DD amount

I have just had a similar letter and cheque. I was not aware that my exchange had changed it's market grade so this was a very nice surprise. Like MightyMouse, a nice way to start the week. Thank you PlusNet.  Smiley

Re: This month's email re DD amount

Me, three.
In all fairness I'm very surprised at receiving this refund especially as I had a hefty discount during this period till I re-contracted in March this year.

Re: This month's email re DD amount

As intimated by others, I, too, received a cheque today. HOWEVER, everywhere that I look, my exchange is still listed as Market1 (A) -altho' it is unbundled by both Sky and TT !!! Huh
I'll bank the cheque but be prepared for another missive in a few months time, telliung me I OWE ~ £100s!!! Undecided

Re: This month's email re DD amount

I wouldn't worry about your market being listed as 1 still as mine is, too. We also have Sky and TT.

Re: This month's email re DD amount

@Mav- I'm presuming that we are covered by the addendum to the faqs re pricing in different areas, namely:_
"Please note: Plusnet reserves the right to reclassify non-low cost areas to low cost areas at its discretion; it shall not reclassify a low cost area as a non-low cost area unless required to do so under UK law."
Gift horses and all that ..... Grin
