hi all,
i have repaired my friends pc after lightning killed the mobo and router.
i have bought an N150 DGN1000 in pc world, shop price £50, reserve in the shop via iphone and collect, £32, anyhoo, and i have the pc and router at my house.
if i set up the router at my house with their connection settings, can i plug it into my phone line to test, or will it get confused.
we both use plusnet ,but different packages
or am i being fick
any help much appreciated

I *think* you'll be okay as long as you disconnect your kit and plug theirs in.

thanks for the reply, thats what i was thinking but wasnt sure if it would confuse my BB, in the old days you could connect your dial up from any phone line............. but then petrol was the same price per gallon as it is now per litre
