I have got 4 lap tops that connect wireless in the house, they all have windows 8.1 installed.
They all have a Atheros AR9485 802.11 b/g/n 1x1 card, which has rubbish range, so I want to upgrade to an 802.11ac card, to match the same standard of router I am going to purchase.
What I am not sure about though, is can I use a 2x2 card in place of 1x1?
