Windows PC Clock

Well, the evidence is there that the PN Firewall is currently blocking ntp updates to my Windows PC. I don't know how long this has been the case, I feel it was not always so but noticed a while ago now that my PC clock was fast and getting more and more out of sync with the real time.

Q. It doesn't seem to apply to the Hub 2 router which, AFAIK, synchronises correctly on a restart. Or does it bypass the PN account Firewall?

The Hub two is not my primary router anymore; there is a ntp request at switch on and every 24 hours, it was the same with the Hub One.

I would expect account firewall had an allow rule for ntp.plus.net and other know ntp servers.

Do you have a preferred ntp server, for Windows time.windows.com seems accurate to me.

My raspberry pi's use debian.pool.ntp.org with the linux systems use ntp.ubuntu.com

So the evidence NOW is that it IS working, with any time server, even with the Plusnet Firewall set to LOW.

This seems to be developing into one of those 'things'... 😫
