Windows 10 Extended Security Updates

I signed up for Windows 10 ESU last year and everything has gone well so far but after downloading and installing this month's updates, I notice that only the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool has appeared in Update History.  I've restarted the computer but still no sign of the other two updates.  Checking for Updates says "You're up to date".  Anyone else here still using W10 and found this happening?

By the way, Windows 10 ESU will not end this year but will continue until 12th October 2027.

Re: Windows 10 Extended Security Updates

Thank you for your replies.

A few minutes ago I also noticed that the 'Feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2' had disappeared from Update History but when I checked again it was back.

All very mysterious.

Re: Windows 10 Extended Security Updates

I`ve just had a peek at mine (I`m also signed up for the extended program) and I`ve had 8 security updates this month showing under "Definition Updates". The latest being KB2267602 installed today. Have to admit it`s not something I regularly check but was prompted to do so when I saw your post Jonpe.

Re: Windows 10 Extended Security Updates

The definition updates are for Microsoft Defender.  I have Norton so I don't get those updates.  The ones missing from my Update History are the Quality Updates:  Cumulative Updates for Windows 10 etc. and Cumulative Update for .Net Framework etc.

Re: Windows 10 Extended Security Updates

UPDATE:  September's updates rather annoyingly started downloading and installing yesterday, not the 13th which is the usual date.  This time they've all been added to the list of updates in Update History.  What happened to the August security ones remains a mystery.

Re: Windows 10 Extended Security Updates

As I went to shut my laptop down last night I got the (Update & Shut down or Update and Restart) option. So I chose Update & Restart. Allowed it to update and then around half an hour later, closed it down. I wasn`t aware of the dates these updates are normally pushed out as I tend to just go with the flow and update when instructed!

Re: Windows 10 Extended Security Updates

@Jonpe @plusmouse  The updates are available on the second Tuesday of each month (in USA). Depending on what time they are actually released, it may be Wednesday in the UK.
