Slow PS4 Upload Speed

Hi guys,

I'm a fairly new Plusnet customer. When my broadband first started, I had no issues but over the past few weeks I've been getting very low upload speeds on my PS4 with a wired connection. I've ran a standard speed test and am getting around 20mbps on most devices but only in the region of 4-7mbps on the PS4. I've tried the following:

-Factory reset router
-Reset PS4 and router
-Updated DNS servers
-Checked current hub firmware
-Checked for PS4 updated
-WiFi connection (same issue)
-Checked cable connections
-Changed MTU settings

I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure this out so any help would be really appreciated.

On the assumption that most devices are wireless, could you turn WiFi off and see if that improves matters.

I'm wondering if other devices are uploading (syncing) data.

Alternatively I might be thinking about packet loss. Is there any indication of this on the PS4.

Also (and forgive my ignorance) what does the PS4 need to upload and hence why is the slower speed a problem.

I also assume download speeds are what you might expect for your connection.
