@Anonymous I'm aware of that.  I just hit reply and did not intend to attribute any ingratitude to you.  My apologies if you thought otherwise.

@chenks76  You are in danger of overcompensating but thankyou.  An old collegue of mine refuses to give even the time of day for free, as he is convinced people only value what they are forced to pay for.  I am hoping not to end up quite that cynical.

damn... i've changed phones (don't have the other phone now) and can't get the VPN set up on the phone.
i'm sure i'm using the correct files but doesn't seem to connect.

i'm copying 4 files across to the phone to import into the client

chenks-nexus6p.ovpn
chenks-nexus6p.key
chenks-nexus6p.crt
ca.crt

it imports OK, but doesn't connect once imported.
sticks at "connecting".
log eventually shows Session invalidated KEV_NEGOTIATE_ERROR
