Messaging Problem with my Tesco mobile

Early afternoon yesterday I called Tesco Bank to obtain a onetime passcode. The 2, sent in succession, have yet failed to arrive.

Can anyone suggest anything at all (with Tesco,my phone- elderly Galaxy Fame) that could cause my problem?

No one has to agree with my opinion, but in the time I have left a miracle would be nice.

Who do Tesco 'piggy-back' on? I had a similar problem with Smarty/Three a couple of weeks back which resolved itself within 24 hours - then I got both in quick succession.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

@jab1 @MisterW Ah! next thing is contact TM, as not in direct contract with O2 ,as still nothing. 🙀

Just out of curiosity I just tried mine.

Old Samsung Galaxy on Tesco Mobile - but my banks Nationwide.

Code came through as normal.

Similar happened to me on Nationwide a while back.

First request - nothing. Second - late. Few following requests - slow.

It turned out they were doing an update/maintenance/upgrade that didn't go as smoothly as expected.

Completely back to normal the following day.
