First of all I've been a customer with Plusnet for well over 7 years.
I love their service but the only downside is the package loss they have on their routers even with full fibre 500. The package loss while gaming is a joke.

So I was wondering how difficult is it to use your own router instead?

Does anyone use their own router and did it help with the package loss at all?

PN have always been happy for customers to use their own equipment. They list the settings required in their Help pages.

It's just a question of finding a router that works for you. Hopefully you already know that a wired connection is best for gaming if at all possible.
