My Internet explorer (11) win 7 64 bit is somehow corrupt, I've been through the processes recommend by MS, downloaded the latest version tried to install and get the following message
I'm open to suggestions (this not intended to be a thread to show the benefits of Opera, Firefox or Chrome)
Quote setup cannot continue because a more recent version of internet explorer is installed on your computer

First course of I would take would be to set IE11 back to its defaults.
Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced Tab > Reset > Tick Delete Personal Settings > Reset
Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced Tab > Reset > Tick Delete Personal Settings > Reset
