Hub One Port Forwarding

Hi all, I'm looking for help on the hub1 and port forwarding please. I am a member of an online fishing simulator and need port 1808 open, but can't remember what I need to do to get this going. Embarrassed

Re: Hub One Port Forwarding

Thanks for the reply.

I have done that and the ports still seem to be blocked somewhere. I cannot connect to any of the servers, when I try it says 'connection error, make sure the ip address is correct' which it is. Do I have to reboot router to complete the changes?

Re: Hub One Port Forwarding

Well, 5 hours on and still can't open port 1808. Here's what I've done..and the results...screen shot 5 shows port still closed.

Re: Hub One Port Forwarding

Yes it is, The port should be open to allow people who use the simulator to access a server to fish in matches, challenge's etc. and I can't seem to open it to take part. Hence the last shot of a port checker to see it's still closed.

Re: Hub One Port Forwarding

No dvorak..not running it, just trying to get to fish the matches, the server is separate from the simulator, which needs the port open to gain access.

Re: Hub One Port Forwarding

Fix
The port opening is only required if you're running the server.

You shouldn't need to open ports to join a game.

Re: Hub One Port Forwarding

Sorry for late reply, and you are correct. I have been onto the admin/maker of the fishing sim and there was a problem on there side hence I couldn't connect to their server.

Thanks for your help though...and your time. Thumbs_Up

Re: Hub One Port Forwarding

No worries, I would remove the port opening you have configured in your router now if you don't need it
