Re: Blocking adult contents

Hi there.

Are you trying to block the content via a broadband account or mobile service?

If broadband you'll be able to do this through Safeguard Here, but if this is regarding mobile feel free to PM me your account number and I'll be happy to arrange for content block to be added on.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Re: Blocking adult contents

Plusnet Safeguard works by changing the router dns servers. Are you using your own router? If so this gives you the settings you need. https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/about-dns-server-and-website-settings/.

Can you log into your router and see what yours are set at?

Re: Blocking adult contents

But you haven’t answered my question. For some reason Plusnet might not be able to access your router settings to update the dns addresses.

Re: Blocking adult contents

How are you accessing this porn?

Is it via adverts or web searches?

If the former, install an advert blocker.

I allow all content through - but I use an advert blocker and use a search engine that doesn't track my browsing.

Try to avoid Google searches.
