@Rourkefamily

Run whatever anti-virus software you have and do a full scan. If that doesn't work try a different one. You can probably get a free scan or 30 day free trial with one of the best ones. I recommend Kaspersky.

Re: Anyone know about sandhyapi.online

Thanks for the reply. I have run Malwarebyes and Windows virus check. Malwarebytes have found one item and this has been removed. Pop up still appearing.

Appears to be linked with  Edge which I use very little. I have run a repair on Edge. Still get the pop up 😠

Have you tried clearing the cache and blocking pop ups?  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/block-pop-ups-in-microsoft-edge-1d8ba4f8-f385-9a0...

The grammar does not look very good to me, likely a  scam to get you to click on the link and to be prompted to talk to a specialist technician (scammer)

Re: Anyone know about sandhyapi.online

This is what I am thinking. Switches from McAfee to Wed advisor. Pops up every couple of minutes with different messages and different number of virus. I just x out. It does seem to be fishing.

For me it is now to find it and remove it and am I still OK to use the latop for online banking?

I would check Task Manager and look in Startup to see if there are any suspicious programs.

Normally a reboot will stop these messages.

@Rourkefamily

Next time it "Pops up".... right click on it, to see if you get a menu item  "View Source"...  Not sure if you will, but just an idea, you could try... and if you do get some info... perhaps post that as a "capture" on here for the guys to analyse for you.

Re: Anyone know about sandhyapi.online

@Baldrick1 Having now cleared Edge browsing history / cache, I have not seen the pop up for the last half hour. So I believe the issue has been fixed. If not I will be back for more help. Thanks for the advice. Much appreciated Thumbs_Up
