plusnet emails

Ohwhy oh why are we not told when we are asked for a username that the username will be a part of the email adress so when I gave my full name as mine, it has to be after the @ sign consequentially my wife's email address has to include my name not very satifactory.
This should be pointed out clearly at signing up and also said that this user name is set in stone and cannot be changed later. Angry

Re: plusnet emails

why dont you sign up to hotmail?
you both can have your own email and if you ever change provider then that doesn't have to change with it

Hi Chas,
Both of those things are pointed out on the username selection page during signup, as per the picture below.

Or get yourself a .me.uk,.co.uk or .org.uk domain for about £4/year with email redirection to your ISP ( in this case PlusNet ) account. Look at http://www.123-reg.co.uk/ or http://order.1and1.co.uk/xml/order/Home;jsessionid=0418A9B84D469BFBC63D705C24B0F9C1.TCpfix153a?__reu... for starters.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
