Re: bye bye plus.net

@Suicide - I've booked your engineer for tomorrow morning, between 8am and 1pm. We'll update you as soon as we have access to the engineer notes, in the mean time if you could let us know how it goes that'd be very helpful.

Re: bye bye plus.net

Hi DawnRider,
Unfortunately no, no change from the message I left for you last night though we are chasing. I'll let you know as soon as we get an update.
I'm wondering if during any of the engineer visits an SSFP (filter faceplate for the master socket) and RF3 filter were fitted at all?

Re: bye bye plus.net

I originally fitted an I-plate myself which bumped up my connection.
On the first visit this and the face plate were removed and a different faceplate fitted.
The second "Engineer" who visited changed this new faceplate for one with built in filters and removed my filter.
The current faceplate is one with both the phone and router connections on the faceplate itself.
All the bits are still on my window ledge.  I am having a car boot for BT bits when you have restored my connection speed! Grin  Grin  Grin

Re: bye bye plus.net

Hi DawnRider,
As per the ticket update/voicemail I've left for you the REIN engineer did attend and find a faulty router in the area interfering with the service on a number of lines. Hope it's made a difference, please let us know if there's been any change and we'll take the according action.

Re: bye bye plus.net

I've good news there - the line profile was upped this morning to 1000 (and it now matches on our side) so you may need to disconnect and reconnect when you get home, though hopefully not. This means that we don't need to reset the SNR profile either.
I'll keep an eye on the connection throughout the day and let you know if I see any drops. Things are looking very positive following the REIN engineer visit.
EDIT: Added a 0. Thanks Jelv.
