Re: The link to the Plusnet Fibre Forums is totally unhelpful

A true anomaly @Oldjim.  The rest of the information on that page is for the FTTC product - now handled in the normal Broadband Products Forums.
FTTP  *was* a trial product until  18th August 2014  but now in an 'undefined' state of availability?
If FTTP is not yet ready to announce as a product.................................................?

The link needs changing then to here http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/board,3.0.html - do you agree?
Perhaps some of the wording changing slightly too.

Re: The link to the Plusnet Fibre Forums is totally unhelpful

Why not have split forums - one for fibre and one for ADSL? It would certainly help figuring out when someone doesn't say if their problems are with ADSL or fibre!

+3 for me too, would make things much easier support-wise.
I'll let one of CRT pick this up on Monday to feed back.

It's been suggested before and rejected. I would fully support a split.
Found this thread but it didn't get very far: http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php?topic=107051.0

Re: The link to the Plusnet Fibre Forums is totally unhelpful

Given that there has been a change of staff on the Forums I would hope that it would get a bit further this time
Assuming it did happen we wouldn't be shifting threads unless specifically requested although with a bit of arm twisting the live threads could be moved if identified as FTTC

There are two ways this can be done
One by the standard Plusnet QA system - don't hold your breath
Two I can do it once the decision is made - and that will be almost immediately

Re: The link to the Plusnet Fibre Forums is totally unhelpful

Hi guys,
I will pass this on and let you know the outcome. I understand it's Broadband and Routers we'd be interested in splitting?
In my opinion, I think it would be beneficial. I'll ask a couple of other members in CRT who have a bit more of a presence in those sub-forums.

That's right, but I'm not sure what we'd call the new one - "Broadband and Routers/Modems FTTC/FTTP" is a bit of a mouthful!

Re: The link to the Plusnet Fibre Forums is totally unhelpful

Probably something like
Broadband and Routers - ADSL
Broadband and Routers - Fibre
Of course if Plusnet would allow sub boards it would be even easier
Broadband and Routers
ADSL
Fibre
Where you wouldn't be able to post in the parent board
