Re: Staff help?

I've dropped a ticket on your account explaining what's happened here, in summary the phone service was transferred to us, then back out, then back to us. If you're being charged call charges by TalkTalk then that sounds as though they have Carrier Pre-Select on the line which routes the call charging to them.

Re: Staff help?

I've put all the details on the ticket. Did you leave on the same number or a different number to the one I've put on there?
I can't see any cancellation request for the broadband service on the account either.

Re: Staff help?

We weren't told that the number in question was being stopped and that's the number that we are supplying BB and Phone service to. To cancel our service we need to be told by either calling us Mon-Fri 9.00am-5.30pm on 0845 140 6002 or by writing into us. Take a look here for the information: http://www.plus.net/support/customer_service/using/grass_is_greener.shtml
If we're not told you want to cancel, we'll keep supplying the service.

Re: Staff help?

Hi sixthprawn,
No, it's the responsibility of the individual to make us aware that they are cancelling or changing providers.

Re: Staff help?

First time i have ever been told to do that. Oh an d itried to ring cancellations, 20 minute wait ?  I think not. So i am liable for a service that i haven't been receiving?  That sounds extremely dodgy.

Re: Staff help?

That service is active. If Talk Talk have provided a new number that means a new line which means there's no way we'd be aware of that.

sixthprawn,
As discussed over the phone and I'm glad we've cleared up a few things and I understand you know what to do from here...
