As a very new user to Plusnet two things disapointed me once I had the basic setup and install working. I was very suprised that another network(s) like a virtual guest (iot) network cannot be set up as standard on the hub two. However, I am, when my virgin contract terminates in a week or two going to replace hub two with my orwn router that has three networks 2 +
5 gHz and an isolated guest (iot) network configured. The other bugbear is that I cannot as default change the hub two 192.168.1.1-254 network to 192.168.0.1-254 which is the default main network on my existing router. It would mean I would not have to mess around with connections when swapping both out for the main admin control setc. I was suprised that this basic functionality is disabled or unavailable in the provided router.
Fixed! Go to the fix.

That's perfectly possible see this thread https://community.plus.net/t5/My-Router/How-to-change-Hub2-IP-Address/m-p/1954016

I tried that initially and while its posible to modify hub gateway IPaddress and subnet mask boxes, the Ip address range when clicked on brings up a box whereby the custom button appears to be disabled and does nothing. No direct address entry without this button pressed is disabled also. In desperation I wondered if changing hub gateway address may lead along a path to success but ended up having to reset eouter to allow any successful contact (on 192.168.1.254 again) as it caused an unstable state

What IP Address are you wanting to make the gateway address?
First you need to select ->Server address range --> "Custom" changing the start and ending addresses to your preferred range or just change the defaults to 192.168.0.64 / 192.168.0.253
This is the DHCP pool, so you do not include the address required for the gateway IP
Once done change the gateway address.
Edit don't forget to save

Ideally I would like the gateway to eventually be changed to 192.168.0.1 but as I replied previously, I cannot change the address range from 192.168.1,1 to 254 TO anything else because the 'custom buttom' seems to be disabled. Pressing it does nothing. whatsoever. I Tried on different browsers - same result.

It worked for me
My order using wireless which is not really recommended
1) Clicked on the Server address range box and selected Custom
2) Clicked on Start address made 192.168.0.64
3) Clicked on End address made 192.168.0.253
4) Clicked on IP address made 192.168.0.1
5) Saved.
6) Disconnected the wireless connection - waited 30 seconds and reconnected

Pressing the server address range 192.168.1.64-253 brings up the red popup box. After selecting the correct range it goes red background. Then Pressing custom button - it does nothing! Nothing can be edited within any scenario!

I think you're adding an step that's not required.
What if you follow my steps?

If you look at my other uploaded file,I never see start and end addresses on separate lines like your image displayed. It's different. Clicking on the address range box (on a single line) on mine brings up the popup. No editing allowed.

When you click on the address range box, you select ->Custom -->Set
the Start and End boxes should then appear.
I'll check again tomorrow morning if needed

I no longer use a Hub 2, so can’t check whether this comment is valid, but you are trying to set this after logging in fo the advanced settings?

Thank you all. Following your instructions more precisely I did manage to change it to 192.168.0.1-xxx system. There is one outstanding issue. Before, when I connected I seem to get in the router with no warnings.
Now I have to accept the self generated cert if I https connect in my browser which is not an issue (I do that on my own router). However on my own router I only allow https and it will error on http. Currently I can connect with http & also https (with the generatd cert). on this hub two. I have not yet found anywhere where I can force https only within the hub although I am tired and will look again tomorrow.

A couple of answers, a PPPoE connection does not prevent the change from being made, the options to change the IPv4 settings are not available unless in Advanced settings.
Great you managed to change the IP Address range.
I'm afraid you have some more disappointments;
1) WiFi 4 and 5 only. WPA2 or none
2) there is no option to force https access only
3) there is no option to predefine a IP Address to a MAC address, you wait for the device to connect to be allocated an IP Address then in -> Advanced settings -->My network ---> select a device then set to use "Always use this IP address".
The IP Address are sticky, despite the DHCP Lease time they will remain and not available to be recycled.
As you are not using the default settings I would suggest you take a Backup of the configuration.
Happy to answer further questions.
