Sheer Incompetence

I reluctantly stopped being a Plusnet broadband customer last year as I was able to get a far better deal elsewhere. I wanted to keep my email and asked to go on to the paid email option. Instead I was put on a free account meaning I couldn't authenticate to send mail.  I raised a ticket and this was apparently fixed today.  Since the email arrived telling my account had been changed, I have not received any emails.  I sent myself a test email from another account and received an error. I have edited out the personal detail from the email, but can I assume from the error below that my catch all has been switched off.  If so, I am very annoyed as I have not received some urgent emails this evening as a result.
The error is:
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
    'myname'@j'mydomain'.plus.com
Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain 'mydomain'.plus.com by mx.avasin.plus.net. [212.159.9.200].
The error that the other server returned was:
550 Invalid Recipient 'myname'@j'myname'.plus.com

Hi JJF I've just done some account maintenance which should resolve that if it's still an issue, otherwise it shouldn't cause any harm. Let us know either way please.
