Plusnet just gets better and better !
This time last year, I was struggling to get 1.2 meg speed on my wireless internet connection, more often than not, I was getting just under 1 meg…
However… I never expected to see these kind of speeds from a BT speedtest on my line, which is about 3 km from the exchange.
With the router at the end of a 15 metre hardwired extension from the “master socket”…

Maybe theres less wireless interference ?

Well, Shutter!
You are lucky indeed. I could not log on at all from 19.00hrs last night and I gave up at 02.00hrs this morning!  It it was not my router, because I have 2 and both were connected to the default network but the Internet light was out.

My laptop is "usually" only a couple of feet away from the router... however the first two speed tests were done about 25 feet away, in another room, with a brick wall between me and the router...
Wireless interference has not been an issue in my location.... (I use Routerstats and inSSIDer to check )
Thinks. !  must do a "wired" connection test some time... to see how fast the line really is
