My Referrals discount e-mail.

Yeay, I've just been advised that I'm getting my first subscription discount under the My Referrals scheme  Smiley
I think someone at Plusnet needs to look at the e-mail template though.  Extract follows:

[tt]By referring the following account, you have received a discount of £0.50.
This has been applied to your account as a.
Referral ID: new_signup
Discount received: £0.50[/tt]

I know it will be applied as a reduction on my direct debit, but that info has been missed from the e-mail, and although it says 'by referring the following account', the referred account name doesn't follow in the e-mal either  Roll_eyes
Thanks for the discount, I hope this feedback is useful.

Re: My Referrals discount e-mail.

you think you know it will be added to your DD, but there are some people who have other types of account (who have left pluss net) and their refferal discount are added up until they reach £5 and then they get a separate payment.
other point.  It is not a good idea to send peoples details via e-mails.  I current get two and they are a diffent type

Re: My Referrals discount e-mail.

Hi Pierre,
Yes, there is - if you look at the sentence at the end of the second paragraph, it ends without explaining how the discount has been applied:

Re: My Referrals discount e-mail.

mind you, I dont know where that invoice is

Re: My Referrals discount e-mail.

Pierre,
The problem is with the second sentence in that paragraph, the one that says "This has been applied to your account as a."
As you can see, there's something missing at the end of the sentence. It should explain what the discount has been applied as, but isn't doing.
