As your last post mentioned they were losing sync at the cab, the BT engineer just came to our house and said sorry thats all we can do and will pass the problem back to plusnet to see what you want to do.....
BT know there is a fault and have now left me with an unusable internet, before their involvement today at least I could use it to some extent.....
To just go off and finish on a job when they have made it 10 x times worse is a complete farce and utter joke!!!
I am extremely unhappy I want to know immediately what plusnet intend to do about this...!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats 4 x BT visits this month and they are nowhere near sorting the problem out....and have just managed to make things worse....
You would be better off sending monkeys with a lobotomy.........

If ISPs such as PN are to retain a customer base, then they really need to improve the framework agreement for services with BT, especially for these situations. It's getting me wound up Dogwhisperer so christ knows what it is doing to you.
Have to say I think AdamWalker has demonstrated excellent customer service this week BT have shown what complete jobsworth idiots they are.

Adam is the only reason I am staying with plusnet, but even with his great efforts I only have so much patience and time that I am willing to carry on......
Its looking like litigation is going to be my only way of me being fully compensated for this total joke, plusnet have credited me for April and May but this now falls well short when you consider the amount of time I have had to spend on this, at a rough guess this has taken at least 150 hours of my time in April, dealing with 4 x BT visits and hours constantly checking download speeds, router stats and waiting long periods for websites to load and waiting 10 mins for a 2mb file to download, time spent writing the posts here in this forum and in the tickets and supplying many screen shots as evidence of the problem etc etc.......
I have built up a case file of evidence that is inches thick.
I am also disabled and have an auto-immune disease which does not respond very well under stressful situations, I get my full time carer to write these posts on my behalf.....I am due some blood tests results and they will tell me if this stressful situation is affecting my health.....having had this condition for a number of years I get to know when stress is making me unwell and thats how I am feeling right now....totally stressed out and unwell.....the internet is important to me as its difficult for me to get about and it gives me access to the outside world, so to lose that connection just isolates me further from the world.....

Looking back at what has happened since I last looked at this before the weekend it did look as though work did carry on into the late hours on Friday to get this resolved. BT from their side at least believe the issue should be resolved now, however they have advised that a further lift and shift may be required if you are still experiencing problems. Please let us know how things are going for you at the moment.

At the moment we are getting the throughput that we were not getting before.
However one worrying thing is that since Saturday there have been a number of unexplained disconnections and loss of sync and that has reduced our router sync speed from 3800 to now 2394....we were getting 2mb download speeds and that has now dropped to around 1800....as a result of the loss of sync speed....
I say these disconnections and loss of sync are unexplained as the SNR margin was a solid 9db when syncing at 3800 and now a solid 12db, so if it was caused by noise or interference I would expect to see this go up and down, also I have a netgear dg834 v 4 router that is very good at holding on even when the snr margin is in minus figures.
To sum up its much better than it was before, I know you will prob say the above is down to the new training period but having been through many training periods in the past this is not part of that in my view....I guess we just see how it goes and see if the sync speed continues to deteriorate and go from there.....what do you think?
I have posted the router logs in the ticket so you can see the disconnections and loss of sync for yourself.....

Hope you had a good weekend too, I have checked the fault notes in detail with BT and it appears that another lift and shift is required following the replacement to the E-side cable. I'll be straight up with you and give you the bad news first, we need to do this by booking another appointment. Its unlikely that the engineer will need to visit it you for long or if at all.
I'm sorry to see that not all the necessarry work has been done but only the task of another lift and shift not seems to remain. I'm confident that things should settle down following this.

They will probably come round my house first and I will have to explain the problem for the 88th time, then the 2 hour time limit will be up and that will be the end of that again....
Just the thought of it makes me want to go and have a very long lie down in a darken room.....

I've just booked a PM (1:00PM to 6:00PM) appointment for this afternoon. This has been booked with no time limitation and is intended to get the job to replace the E-side cabling finished and also to perform a lift and shift once that side of the work is done.
I'm in the office until roughly 7:00PM tonight so I'll be able to revisit this after 6:00PM to see how things went. Fingers and toes firmly crossed for you in the meantime!
