Make OldJim a Bright Spark

It was recently announced that OldJim was retiring from the role of Moderator (see http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,138508.0.html), a post he has held for many years.
Not only has he been a great moderator, but he has also helped a lot of users along the way.
I'd therefore like to propose that he is made a Bright Spark. This is normally done quietly behind the scenes but in this case I think a public recognition of the very valuable contributions he makes would be fitting.

(I know it's not normal for Plusnet staff to vote on polls, but in this case I suggest it would be appropriate)
Edit: I've just found when he was elected - December 2008 - see http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,71027.0.html
Edit 2: I've added the option for him to be made a Legend

And why not  'Legend' instead?

Re: Make OldJim a Bright Spark

I've added the option.
My feeling is that for users visiting the forums for the first time "Bright Spark" is more indicative than "Legend". We've tended to use Legend for someone who has made a huge contribution on the past but is no longer participating so much in the forums - I sincerely hope that isn't the case here.

Jim was a bright spark in the past. Only one option left. Vote Legend ( I have )  Smiley

Re: Make OldJim a Bright Spark

Since he was a Bright Spark before being a moderator, surely he should revert to Bright Spark as a matter of course?
Legend being the other option, of course.  Smiley

Can anyone remember who the other Legends are?

Re: Make OldJim a Bright Spark

When does the poll end? Looks like Legend may have it.
