No, its optional, just depends on whether you wanted the same login details as last time. Surprised they couldn't find you but it shouldn't make a difference really

You might thus care to alter the title of your post, from the original simple "Leaving Plusnet" to may be something like "Thinking of leaving Plus Net?  Beware, the grass ain't greener out there!"
