Re: Enough is enough

When you say fibre do you mean standard FTTC or are you going on the FTTP trial?

Re: Enough is enough

Quick update for you, cbmonkey.
We're still waiting for the order to commit (it hasn't quite yet been 24 hours), but Matt W. is still on the case and aware of the urgency Smiley

Re: Enough is enough

Anything yet?.
On a side note cate. I notice on amazon a vdsl2 faceplate etc costs roughly £16. Can you organise for BT to send me one?. I can install it but I do not feel like I should be having to pay for one.
As a matter of fact, pn haven't said at all about any sort of "sweetener" for having to wait so long

Re: Enough is enough

Talk about leading you on.
Get told it should take 24 hours, that passes and then suddenly get ignored on the forums by pn staff after they say the 24 hours is almost up!

I assure you I'm still chasing this up.
I'm on the phone to our suppliers at the moment.

Re: Enough is enough

Thanks Chris.
I dont know why I cant have a straight answer as to
1/ whats causing the problem
2/ when I can expect it to be resolved
3/ what are Plusnet doing about it as this is an unacceptable period to wait

Re: Enough is enough

I'm really sorry for the delays. Unfortunately I don't have a idea as of yet when you'll be online but I'm still chasing this with our suppliers.

Re: Enough is enough

"The delays" being nearing 11 weeks. I thought Plusnet was a company that supplied internet service not just chasing with suppliers - how hard can this [Censored] be!!!!
My partner works from home but no-one gives a flying [Censored] that we (as a house hold) are losing money hand over fist whilst we do not have a connection!

Re: Enough is enough

YOU (Plusnet) keep telling ME (person who si meant to have internet) that you are chasing suppliers, on the phone to them and so forth. Why is no-one syaing what the actual problem is and what is being done to resolve it. BT (i'm guessing is your "supplier" must know what is causing the problem.
Grow a set Plusnet and CHASE them properly for an answer and a date
