Apart from initial payment (paid by card)I've paid monthly by DD.now you are claiming I have always paid by card.

Sorry but I've checked the account and can't see anywhere that we've said you haven't been paying via direct debit? The account is with our billing team at the moment as the DD has been cancelled so the payment that was processing hasn't gone through. They'll check and remove any incorrect charges from when you left and close the account down.

I haven't cancelled my DD and infact you put £19+ into my account today.
