Re: 4 hours?

Four hours of continuously on hold or calling for 20 minutes, hanging up and trying again ?

Re: 4 hours?

I'd assume thats trying and hanging up.
I remember once ringing one company for so long that BT disconnected me saying "The other side is not answering". Think it was 45 mins before that happened lol
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

Re: 4 hours?

So if the minimum wait was 20 minutes and maximum wait was 30 minutes, you could easily spend the whole day trying to call if you hung up after 18 minutes or so each time whereas hanging on for a few more minutes would get you through.
This may well not be the case with the original poster but it would be interesting to see how they made the calls.

Re: 4 hours?

In my view if I need to speak to them then I would hold for as long as it takes - but that's my preference.
What would make me see red is to ring them wait 40 - 60 minutes and then get cut off or be charged for the call because I have waited over 60 minutes. I see the wait time last night when the OP posted was 1hr 27m and was just about the longest wait of the day. Were there additional problems somewhere?

Re: 4 hours?

To be honest a wait of longer than 60 seconds is totally unacceptable.
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.
