It's back to the usual Friday for me. I kind of like doing the Friday end of day as I keep it as the last thing of the week to do. Once it's posted I'm off home. So, it's been another busy week here at Plusnet, I think it's always a busy week though, not that we use the busy word too much... The week has flown by though, lots of stuff to do and lots done. For me the 1st of the month means it's usage analysis day so lots of reports run off today for April's usage. Will factor that into our capacity forecasting model next week. Plenty of other work today for me on 21CN, traffic management, reporting and lots of other stuff that crops up during the day. Let's move swiftly on though with the HR end of week from Barbs:
Gemma has been updating the Discipline and Grievance Workshop with a new code of practice; and has also worked on updating inductions. she's also been looking at absence over the last year and been supporting managers with HR issues. I've been doing the HR KPI's; starting the inclusion of showing CSC levels on ciphr, looking at absence in relation to flu jabs, whilst Amanda has been out and about including Hod's meetigs and covering the MDLP sessions which took place this week. And finally Jen! Jen is feeling sore but is fine after her lucky escape, trying to take on a moving car. She had us all worried, but is taking off next week as holiday, as is Amanda, so next week it's just Gem and me! Enjoy the Bank Holiday everyone...whether it be DIY, socialising, going away, or just vegging out and watching the James Bond film. Barbs
And we'll finish off with Pete from the Comms Team:
I'm here with the Comms Team end of day since the rest of the team has scrammed. Not surprising really as it's a lovely sunny evening with the long weekend stretching ahead.
So.. what has the team been up to today? Mand has been looking at some project work and making sure that we've got all the bases covered with internal awareness and staff training. James and Matt have been in the forums and helping both customers and staff in one form or another. Bob has been gritting his teeth and doing his best to sort out various problems and network issues brought to his attention directly or via the forums. And Chris has been Excelling with his customer satisfaction survey reporting.
I've been looking at everything except the thing I'd wanted to look at today.. looks like some homework for me this weekend then. I did get quite a few little and not-so-little planning jobs out of the way though, so next week should go ok all being well. Well, you never know..
Peter
And that's all folks, I'm finally off home, was going to leave on time but that never happens. Oh well, dedication I guess. Have a great weekend everyone and we'll all be back on Tuesday. Hope it's sunny...
