WiFi dropout.

Hello, I’ve read through some threads and I think a firmware update could help me with WiFi dropouts. Could someone advise me on how to update my plusnet hub one please.

Only Plusnet can update yout firmware. If you log into your router and check your current firmware version the latest ends .263.

Also use the forum's SEARCH button to see suggestions on improving Hub One's WiFi performance, which admittedly

isn't it's strong point!

You could consider using your previous router, and reconfigure it's settings.
