What router is PN giving out?

What router is PN giving out currently for vdsl use?

No one has to agree with my opinion, but in the time I have left a miracle would be nice.

Re: What router is PN giving out?

@Luzern The Hub1 - i.e. re-badged and tweaked BT HH5(a?).

What! I had been hoping something better, as my ex JL Zyxel was far superior.-:c seems on the blink

have there been any firmware updates. and how can I know what version I have?

Re: What router is PN giving out?

There is a firmware update being rolled out - .283.1.1 I understand, but as I have never used that router, I can't be 100% sure where it is mentioned - probably on the 'Help Desk' page, I would imagine.

@Luzern

Is it Zyxel that's on the blink? If not, you can probably use it on PlusNet. Settings are shown in the PlusNet Help pages.

Rumours have it PlusNet will start using a new router later this year - at the same time they roll out a FTTP service. Probably will be a re-badged BT SmartHub one or two. However, until there's any announcement it is only rumour.

Re: What router is PN giving out?

@bmc  ZYxel is giving grief, but I've seen something about one of the warnings on the windows trouble-shooter, so Imsy play with it to see if I can get it working,
