Sky Q and Sky Q mini box issues

Hi

My Sky Q box is wirelessly connected to my router, no problems at all. As soon as I attach a power cable to a sky Q mini box then my main Sky Q box loses its connection ( disconnect the mini box from power and the main box connects again )

its an odd one, any ideas?

update, having reset the Sky Q mini box I am getting a message that my plus net router has stopped issuing IP addresses - any idea how I fix that please
