Replacement PN Hub

Anyone know how I go about replacing my original PN Hub for a newer model?
I can’t see any links in my account to purchase one or am I better off picking one up on eBay?!
I’m not a gamer & have most high bandwidth usage items are wired so don’t need anything fancy, been using an AP to get around the Apple lock up issue!

@10TLHCW What Hub version have you got, and how old is it?

Re: Replacement PN Hub

Fix

@10TLHCW welcome to the forum.

plusnet currently supply a Hub Two (the one with a round circle on the front).

You would need to phone in, new Hub are usually offered on contract renewal, free but your are charged P & P.

You could buy a third party device, but you need to ensure you get one for the service you have

Part Fibre (copper phone line) would need a combined modem/router. If you are Full Fibre then you are likely to have a Hub two already.

EDIT: what makes you think you need a new Hub?

Re: Replacement PN Hub

I would like to know this information too. My router softwares hasn't been updated since 2019 which doesn't seem like it's very secure.

Re: Replacement PN Hub

Evening all
I’m not sure how old my original hub is but it’s old enough to start to discolour! I want to replace it as, well if I’m honest, it’’s [-Censored-] & done all it can for me as an Apple user! It has the latest firmware available on it but it’s time to retire it!
I went with @Dan_the_Van suggestion & raised a ticket with PN (I didn’t fancy sitting on hold & it’s not urgent), they’re sending me a Hub 2 FOC & covering the P&P costs!
