I believe it will still receive updates, but I doubt they would be relevant for a plusnet connection.
If you take a look at the event.log on the hub, likely location >Advanced settings >Technical log >Event log
If there is a category "TR069 or CWMP" look there is see if there are any successful connection message to the CWMP server.
For a Hub two they read, start from the bottom line.
22:42:02, 29 Oct. CWMP: HDM socket closed successfully.
22:42:02, 29 Oct. CWMP: HTTP authentication success from pbthdm.x.x.x
22:42:02, 29 Oct. CWMP: HDM socket opened successfully.
22:42:02, 29 Oct. CWMP: session completed successfully
22:42:02, 29 Oct. CWMP: HDM socket closed successfully.
22:42:02, 29 Oct. CWMP: HTTP authentication success from pbthdm.x.x.x
22:42:01, 29 Oct. CWMP: HDM socket opened successfully.
22:42:01, 29 Oct. CWMP: HDM socket opened successfully.
22:42:01, 29 Oct. CWMP: Server URL: https://pbthdm.x.x.x; Connecting as user: ACS username
22:42:01, 29 Oct. CWMP: Session start now, server: https://pbthdm.x.x.x, Event code: 2 PERIODIC
22:42:01, 29 Oct. CWMP: Initializing transaction for event code 2 PERIODIC
The above message code 2 PERIODIC are for an active connection CWMP/TR069 "I am here messages" they should repeat every 24 hours but not necessarily at the same time of my example
If you're not sure copy/paste a log entry example from your hub.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Thanks for the quick response.
The hub has the latest firmware (april 2025) so I will see how things go for a while.
