Hub 1 to Hub 2 change, old printer - I’d be looking at a/b/g mode compatibility. Would need to check the printers wifi spec.  Try changing the mode.  Also check the printers WAP support - by default the Hub2 uses WAP2.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

I had run out of patience (and temper), but the issue seems to be solved/fixed. I did a clean install of the drivers and YESSS, printer is working. It seemed to be either a port problem or was looking for a wired connection which I don't have.

 

Thanks to all who gave advice/help/solutions, now I'll go and count how many more grey hairs I've got.

That solution is confusing.  Do not see how updating the printer driver on the PC altered the printer’s ability to connect to the hub properly.

None the less, this being fixed for you is good .

I can't understand it either, but, the clean install seems to have done the job.
