Orbi Mesh alongside Plusnet

Hi,

I recently got an Orbi Mesh system and am using it in Access Point mode with my plusnet router/modem. I have turned off the wifi on plusnet.

At present my plusnet router is assigning the IP addresses.

Would it make sense to turn off the DCHP server on the plusnet router and use the Orbi one in Router Mode. Would this work - the orbi router has more features if it assigns the IP addresses.

To be able to do that you’d need to be able to put the hub one into modem only mode, which can’t be done.
If you want to use the Orbi to do everything you’d need to get a separate modem.
