I’m one of the many now reporting a noisy router but after some investigation I’ve found an issue which almost renders it useless.
Quite a few devices run only on 2.4ghz and have been noticing a lot of drop outs, Xbox Live disconnects etc. So tonight I did a continuous ping test to the BBC website. My results are as follows:
On 5ghz:
919 pings, lost 8
On 2.4ghz:
348 pings, lost 102
Not a good score. But oddly this gets worse when this static noise is occurring. When the router is quiet it’s fairly stable.
But I’d say it’s goosed.

Welcome to the community forums @Hyperjase
I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing problems with your router.
I'm sending you a replacement out which you should receive within a few days.
A returns bag with a free-post label for the defective one will arrive separately.
Hope this helps.
