No Internet - trying to connect TP Link C80

Hi, and thanks. It looks like my ip address is static. Should I try and set up as if for a static ip?
I tried the secondary connection as dynamic, but no luck.

@aitchvee its irrelevant whether you have a static ip or not. The connection should still be pppoe and obtain ip from isp. The only difference with a static ip is that plusnet will always allocate the same ip

Leave the secondary connection set to none.

Do you have any special characters in your password, some tplink routers didnt like that, not sure if the c8 is one. You could try changing your password to remove special characters.

Failing that,  have you checked the router log ?

Thanks v much for your help all, it's working!!!

I checked the password and, as it'd been generated by Dashlane, it had some pretty obnoxious characters in it. I changed it and it worked. Only took me two days
