Need a new Router

Hello, i would like a wifi 6 router for gaming and game streaming. i have a hub 2. can anyone recommenced a router?

I can't recommend a router - but is the kit you are using, other the router, WiFi6 capable?

Just a thought,  if you are otherwise happy with the Hub-2,  you could upgrade just the WiFi by adding an external "Wireless Access Point".

For gaming a wired connection is optimal is it cuts out lag and WiFi buffering.

As to WiFi6 the receiving units must be capable in receiving the signal.

As for a router consider a FritzBox 7530AX. I got a 7530 (non WiFi6) for £35 from CEX.

Although I don't have a Flint 2 I think that's a really good suggestion for a gamer & streamer.

There is a Flint 3 but my understanding is that the Flint 2 is the better choice.

If you have full fibre the Flint replaces the Plusnet hub and you take the WAN connection and plug it into the Flint.

If you have broadband over a phone line then the Plusnet Hub 2 has a "modem mode" which you would use.
