Re: My Plusnet Hub one router.

Curiouser and curiouser in which case because your hub is currently online and I'm able to communicate with it. I've just extracted a bunch of logs from it which I would not be able to do if it weren't online Huh

Perhaps I'm not looking at the right account, however the IP assigned to the hub matches the one you're posting from.

Re: My Plusnet Hub one router.

Right I have just reconnected my router and within 30 seconds of it rebooting it turned its self off.

I did the usual 1- unplug power wire for a few seconds and plugged back in. 2- Router went through its reboot.

Then after 5 minutes it turned itself off again so repeated steps 1 and 2 above and it has rebooted.

I will leave my router connected so you can monitor how many times it turns itself off.

I am now connected to this site on my laptop via mobile data tethering.

Karl.

Re: My Plusnet Hub one router.

And 18 minutes later it has turned itself off again.

I hope you are monitoring my router to see this happening?

I will now unplug and re plug power line AGAIN.

Karl.

Re: My Plusnet Hub one router.

@karlgixer - sorry, but I'm no less confused.

The hub that is connected now has the same serial number as the one that was connected earlier when I checked.

Me connecting to the router just before 10am: -

Sep 7 09:54:25 2022 (1370352.480000) CWMP: Session start now. Event code(s): '6 CONNECTION REQUEST'

The same router booting up at 10:17am: -

Sep 7 10:17:27 2022 ( 18.200000) System start

The same router rebooting again at 10:27am: -

Sep 7 10:27:58 2022 ( 17.800000) System start

All of the above are taken from logs extracted from the exact same device, including the event before 10am.

Disconnections on your account that co-incide with the above: -

Session Ended
10:12 07/Sep/2022
10:27 07/Sep/2022

Prior to this, the connection had been up for over 15 days.

I'm not trying to be obstructive, I'm just really struggling to corroborate your series of events 😕

What hub was loaned from your friend? Is it a Plusnet hub and if so, perhaps you can share the serial number? Might help me make sense of things at this side.

Re: My Plusnet Hub one router.

I haven't called you a liar Karl.

I'm just providing you with the view from our side.

Your connection looks to have dropped ~5 times or so in over two months (two of those this morning). If you're confident this isn't the case, then feel free to private message me with your account username and I'll double check that I'm looking in the right place.

I'm happy to look into things for you, but I really can't argue with what I'm seeing at this side at the moment.

Sorry.

Re: My Plusnet Hub one router.

Well.

finally got in touch with plusnet and they said it is probably my router slowly failing.

They said they cannot send me a new hub out but i can buy one from them for £99.99 + £6.99 postage.

Ye right shuv it where the sun dont shine,

I will put up with the one have now or buy a brand new plusnet super hub 2 from a well know auction site for £29.99 delivered.

And once my contract has ended plusnet can also shuv the renewal where the sun dont shine.
