Re: Multiple "Upgrade and system start TR069" per day

My suspicion would be a faulty hub or PSU ?

As @Dan_the_Van says , the 'upgrade' is a normal message, its not a firmware upgrade. A real firmware upgrade just downloads the firmware and then schedules a reboot for around 02:00 the following day. There's also no evidence from the CWMP logs of any attempt to download firmware. Also AFAIK from the 'booting firmware...' logs it looks to be on the latest f/w

@MisterW

Very much my thinking, trying another Hub would the next obvious step.

The PSU might be getting weak, if it was failing you'd see power up messages rather than reboots

Thanks

Re: Multiple "Upgrade and system start TR069" per day

OK thanks guys. I'll see if I can find the previous PlusNet hub to try for a while, and change the 9v plug at the same time as you suggest.

I'll update this thread with my findings in a few days.

I trust that this is a typo and you mean 12V 1.5A?

@Baldrick1

Good point, but saying that he could use a Hub One PSU if he has one as they are rated the same.

Whatever. It's all hard wired in a cupboard right now, but I'll check when I pull it out!

Re: Multiple "Upgrade and system start TR069" per day

Ok. Found the old Plusnet One router. Shut down Hub2. Factory reset old router, then configured it to be the same WiFi settings as Hub2. Hooked it up to phone line and the two Lan ports, but devices cannot connect to the internet. Router has blue light but connection info says connected with setup@plusdsl.net with no option to enter my own.

From the home page you need to navigate to Advanced Settings >Broadband >Internet

Make sure you click on disconnect and then try entering your username and password.

If that doesn't work disconnect the DSL cable and try the above again

Thanks. Connected to the internet now. Will monitor it to see how things go.
