Hub one reboots with watchdog message

Hi,

I've had a Hub One for the last two years which has worked perfectly but over the last few months it has started occasionally rebooting by itself during use, usually once a day but sometimes a couple times in a row.

The event log shows "0x3" watchdog resets - while troubleshooting I found some other threads with the same thing (This one recently and an older one ) that turned out to be faulty routers, is there anything I can do to fix this or can it only be fixed with a new router?

I've pasted the router boot logs for the last couple of days, any help appreciated:

Re: Hub one reboots with watchdog message

Thanks for your post @Quezacotl14 and welcome to our Community Forums.

I'd recommend doing a factory reset of the router by pushing a paperclip into the pin hole at the back for 20 seconds.

If you're still getting the watchdog message, I agree it'd suggest the router's given up.

Let us know and we'll arrange for a replacement to be sent. Smiley

Re: Hub one reboots with watchdog message

Thanks @Gandalf I've just done a factory reset and come back up again, fingers crossed that fixes it but I'll let it stew for a couple of days and see how we go

Cheers 🙂

Re: Hub one reboots with watchdog message

Update, unfortunately the factory reset hasn't fixed things, I'm still getting the same periodic reboots see below. Is there any chance of a replacement hub if it is a hardware issue?

Re: Hub one reboots with watchdog message

Hello @Quezacotl14

Thanks a lot for sending the logs the logs through. To be honest this is the first time I've come across watchdog reset issues, though I've been iun touch with a few colleagues and have been advised that this is a WIFI PCI issue with the router, and it needs replacing.

I've just ordered a new Plusnet Hub One to be sent out to you, it'll be arriving within 3-5 working days, and all associated fees have been waived.
