Hi, just a quick question really I have a WD mycloudexultra 8TB NAS and every couple of days I get the following error message when copying from my Win10 PC to the NAS drive:
Error 0x8007003B: An unexpected network error occurred
I keep having to power cycle the router to resolve this issue, is there a more permanent fix? I have assigned the NAS a static IP address and turn off the firewall on the router prior to copying files but this issue keeps happening. I have replaced all the CAT 5 cables for brand new ones and the NAS is plugged directly into the Plusnet router hub one. Connecting to the internet seems fine although I have noticed that I am having to restart it as the speed drops below 50mbs download speed. Is this an issue with the router? I received a replacement a couple of years ago. I know things don't last forever but could the router be the issue?
Fixed! Go to the fix.
