I'm thinking of switching from another provider and want to keep my current set up using a Draytek Vigor2927ax dual ethernet router so that we have our network set up so that our solar panel data is behind a firewall and have both W2.4 W5 network config options? Is this possible / easy with Plusnet?

PlusNet have always been happy for customers to use their own equipment. The settings required can be found in their Help pages.
So long as the equipment is compatible with your chosen product then you're good to go.
The only time it matters is if there's a fault on the line. PN Support staff like to see a PN router in situ so they can run tests.

@inamo it shouldn't be a problem, you just need to set the WAN connection to PPPoE with your Plusnet username and password.
If you're getting Full fibre then just connect a WAN port to the ONT. If it's Fibre(fttc} then you'll. need a DSL modem, although the Plusnet Hub 2 can be used in bridge mode as a modem.
