I am in the same boat as everybody else. Recently switched from BT to plusnet in april, but decided to use the smart hub instead of the crappy box that plusnet provides. Internet was fine until a couple weeks ago that it started to conk out daily at 12:01am. This clearly seems to be a problem with plusnet and the BT Home Hub. I hope this gets fixed very soon.
I'm wondering if this daily reboot is specific to one particular model of Smarthub. @CJCole @MGS1 @androidtanmay @TG1000 can your post your Smarthub model number so that we can see whether there is a pattern?

The model number is generally combined with the seial number separated with a /.

My serial number for Smart Hub:
+084319+ NQ70211979
The model is 084319. It will be interesting to hear from others using this version. It would also be helpful to know the firmware version.

Been running a hh5 for a short while just to see if that made any difference ( seems not as the PN One is essentially a clone) however I noticed that it seemed to reboot overnight - I'd check stats in the morning only to find that overnight the hub had dropped connection and that the uptime was only a matter of hours
Just changed back to the PN hub to recheck the uptime/reboots - only have a couple or wifi devices so crappy wifi performace is not a major concern right now
Not sure if that helps or hinders
Only connected the BT Hub 1 on July 1st. No problems first night. Second day firmware updated to SG4B1000E020
. Since update router rebooted everynight at 00:01
It looks as though this could be a firmware issue that also affects some BT customers. https://community.bt.com/t5/BT-Devices/Home-Hub-6A-Firmware-SG4B1000E020-Nightly-reboot-00-02/td-p/2...
Are other contributors also using this firmware?
I use a business Smarthub which uses different firmware so can's contribute but it would be helpful if others with residential versions could advise their model number and firmware to see if there's a pattern.

I swapped back to a Hub 5 this morning - but given your post now assume that's not going to work. Will have to see.
